Werkado’s story
Werkado‘s story began in 2008, when a wholesale company was founded in Estonia, and which chose the Baltic countries as its home market. To date, 15 years of experience in hand tools and 9 years in personal protective equipment have been accumulated.
Werkado is an importer of premium tools and personal protective equipment on the Baltic market! Their specialists have gathered premium tool manufacturers and brought them together in one place. Through this process, it is possible to offer a convenient and effective service to our customers.
Objective of the project
Formerly known as Toolmarketing, in the course of updating its services the company underwent rebranding, which required the creation of a homepage introducing the new brand. The page had to be built according to their new CVI and had to support their B2B e-shop page (https://oc.werkado.eu/et/).
Challenge
The goal was to create a simple, fast-loading page with as few third-party plugins as possible, reducing security risks. WordPress was chosen as the platform, and the well-optimized starter base AWPS became the foundation. AWPS has efficient asset and php function management. Different craft blocks were also built, to facilitate the creation of different leaf structures.
Final Implementation
As part of the project, Acty’s designer created a new design for Werkado’s website, based on Werkado’s fresh identity when creating the visuals. The visuals of the page became clean, minimalistic and modern, using Werkado’s new brand features. WordPress was chosen as the website platform, on which we built a template based on new visuals as a tailor-made solution. The page was well optimized and with a fast loading time.
